Bright ruby-red. Slightly liqueur-like aromas of blueberry, black cherry, dark chocolate, coffee, mocha, tobacco and menthol. Quite primary on the palate, with crushed blueberry and menthol flavors currently cut off by big, chewy, building tannins. This is the estate's second wine, but winemaker Sullivan notes that Rudd still bulks out a lot of additional wine.
